The United Way of Tri-Valley Area Halls of Horror will be at a new indoor location, 128 Weld Road in Wilton.
The haunt is scheduled to run from 7-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21 and 27-28.
There will not be time slots this year. General admission costs $20.
Attendees will try to find their way through the Halls of Horror. This event is not for the squeamish, according to a news release from the United Way chapter, based in Farmington.
Purchase or upgrade to a VIP pass costs $40 a ticket, which bumps one to the front of the line with a minimal wait, two free drinks (alcoholic or non), and a souvenir lanyard. Ticket upgrades can be made the night of the event for the additional fee.
Purchase or upgrade to a Hall Pass ($60 a ticket) includes VIP parking, where one will start the night in a haunted escape room. One must find their way out to enter the haunt. Along the haunt one will be touched, grabbed and pulled into separate rooms of terror. The Hall Pass also includes two free drinks (alcoholic or non), and a souvenir lightup lanyard.
No one will be touched by any actors unless a Hall Pass has been purchased and participants have a lightup lanyard.
Tickets can be purchased on the nights of the event, first come first serve in line. The event is recommended for those 13 and older.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
