DIXFIELD — Sophia Nino’s second-half insurance goal was the key as Dirigo defeated Lisbon 2-1 in girls soccer action Thursday.

Teeghan Simonsen scored with 1:47 left in the first half to put Dirigo (2-4) up 1-0. Nino doubled that lead with just under 26 minutes left in the second half.

Addy Burkhardt cut the deficit in half for Lisbon (1-6) with eight minutes left, but Dirigo was able to hold on for the victory.
