Police said a Hancock man who had been missing from his assisted living community on Thursday has been found safe.

Craig Laughlin, 64, had been spotted leaving 51 Eastside Road at 10:30 a.m. wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and slippers.

Laughlin has mental health issues, according to state police.

Police did not release information about how Laughlin was found.
