FARMINGDALE – On Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2023, heaven received another angel. Florence Virginia Choate, 100, passed away peacefully at her son David’s home.

Ginny was born on Aug. 28, 1923, the daughter of Benjamin and Margaret (Batson) Blake.

She is survived by her three sons Daivd (Sandy), Roland (Sue), and Bill (Leanne); grandchildren Roseann, Roland Jr., Nancy, Debbie, Scotty; great grandchildren Tyler, Savanna, Josh, Jordan, Melissa, Anna, Abigail, Charolette, Wyatt.

She was predeceased her husband, Richard S. Choate, and a granddaughter, Tabitha Choate Edmondson.

Her memory will be forever cherished by all.

Special thanks to Florence’s caregiver Sandy who was her constant companion for the last two years.

Also special thanks to her five nieces Lynn, Kathy, Bobbie, Brenda, Margie.

At Florence’s request there will be no services.
