PORTLAND — Madison Bennett scored off a penalty corner with less than two minutes remaining in the first overtime to give Mount View a 1-0 win over Waynflete in field hockey action Saturday.
The Mustangs improve to 2-11 while the Flyers fall to 5-6.

NYA 5, MONMOUTH/WINTHROP 0: Ella Giguere tallied a goal and an assist to help lead the Panthers to the win in Monmouth.
Natasha Godfrey scored to give NYA (9-1-3) a 1-0 halftime lead, then Giguere, Alicia Fontana, Lyla Casey and Lily Rawnsley all found the back of the net in the second half. Caroline Matusovich also picked up an assist for the Panthers.
Sarah Moore made two saves for the shutout, while June Foyt turned away 13 shots for Monmouth/Winthrop (8-4-1).
