June Tillson Leach

AUGUSTA – June passed to a better place on Oct. 10, 2023. June was born April 7, 1935, the sixth child of Lyndon and Ethel Tillson. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Rogers; niece Virginia; Rena Collins and longtime friends, Rhonda Newton and Rosslin Vance.

June was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Leach; her parents; brother Theodore Tillson; and sisters Virginia Tibbetts, Bessie Maslick, Violet Hopkins and Evelyn Cummings.

Visiting hours will be held Oct. 20, 2023, at 1 p.m., with a memorial service to begin at 2 p.m., at Wheeler Funeral Home, 26 Church Street, Oakland, Maine. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Lewis Cemetery, 51 Cottle Road, Oakland, Maine.
