I have lived in Augusta for over 60 years, sending all four children to Augusta schools, and watching the city change and grow. With elections for City Council coming up on Nov. 7, I would highly recommend a vote for Marcus Emerson in Ward 1. This is an open seat, as the current councilor cannot run for re-election.

As a retired 20-year Marine Corps veteran, Marcus has the leadership, experience, commitment, and availability to give to this seat on the council and has been endorsed by our state senator, Matt Pouliot.
