Augusta is fortunate to have a strong leader in Linda Conti, serving our community for over a decade on both the planning board and City Council. I want to thank Linda for her steadfast service to the citizens of Augusta.

As Linda terms out, we have an opportunity to elect new leadership. I wholeheartedly endorse Marcus Emerson for Ward 1 City Council. Marcus’s 20 years of military service speaks volumes about his dedication and discipline. His tenure working for the state of Maine has given him a unique understanding of our community’s needs and potential.

As a single father, Marcus knows the importance of creating a thriving environment for our next generation. His genuine commitment as a community servant reflects his vision for an Augusta where all residents prosper and grow.

Marcus embodies the leadership, experience, and dedication Augusta deserves. As we approach this pivotal moment in our local governance, it is paramount that we have someone of Marcus’s caliber representing us.
