David Leland Anderson

GORHAM – David Leland Anderson, 89 of Gorham, Maine passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023. He was born in Gardner, Massachusetts, on April 22, 1934, son of the late Paul V. and Sylvia Poyhonen Anderson.

David was predeceased by his sister Lenore and her husband Ambrose Marean.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Gloria Stuart Anderson, his son, Mark, daughter Beth Young (Jay Weaving, Sr.), his grandson, Jordan Anderson Young (Bryanna Smith), along with nephew, Paul and nieces, Jude, Jane, and their families.

At David’s request there will be no visiting hours. In honoring his memory, the family will be holding a small private celebration of life. David will eventually rest in the Anderson family plot in Evergreen Cemetery in Gardner, Massachusetts.
