The Don Campbell Band plan to take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Opera House at Boothbay Harbor, 86 Townsend Ave.
This concert was rescheduled from Sept. 16 due to the hurricane, Sept. 16 tickets will be honored.
Celebrating 30-plus years of songs, stories, and music, Campbell returns to the Opera House for a special night of original music this fall. He has a unique and uncanny ability to sing comfortably in the tenor range of Vince Gill, Chris Isaak or Dan Fogelberg, and go easily into the subbass vocal level range of country greats Josh Turner and Johnny Cash.
Campbell’s music resides in the home of “American crossover” akin to the Eagles and John Cougar Mellencamp. He won the Grand Prize at Nashville’s Grand Ol’ Opry with his original music, a Grand Prize custom Gibson Les Paul guitar from Jim Beam’s Back Room Band Search, and he’s a 6-time winner of the title, “Maine’s Best Singer-Songwriter” from the Maine Sunday Telegram’s Reader’s Poll.
With fans across Maine and around the country, Campbell and his band bring audiences to their feet nights.
Tickets cost $30.
