Charlene F. Godbout

WEST GARDINER – Charlene F. Godbout, 67, of West Gardiner passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2023, at her home. She was born Oct. 20, 1956, in Gardiner, the daughter of James and Roween Violette Foote.

She attended Gardiner schools and graduated from Gardiner High School, class of 1974. She worked at Healthtex for several years and, later was a manager at Henny Penny’s. She married Robert Godbout in 1975 and they raised their family in West Gardiner.

She loved Mustangs, enjoyed doing crafts and volunteering at the Chelsea Food Bank.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Larry and Mike Foote.

She is survived by her husband, Bob, son Jason of North Monmouth, daughter Michelle Lewis of Chelsea, two grandchildren, John and Emma, brother Jim Foote and his wife Almalee of North Monmouth, sister Cheryl Foote and her husband Lee Kimberling of W. Gardiner, and sister-in-law Betsy Foote of Winthrop.

There will be no services at this time.
