Please join me in supporting Maureen AuCoin for Hallowell mayor. Maureen, affectionately called Mo, gets things done. She’s involved in many community committees and events and has shown herself to be the go-to person on the council when you want something to get attention and follow-through.

I am especially inspired by Mo’s plan to hire an economic development director. Hallowell has only a limited amount of space available for business activity and we should not relax unless every available space is occupied. When we lose businesses in the city, it is taxpayers like you and me who make up the difference to maintain important city services.

Mo knows how vital businesses are to Hallowell’s economy, and she’s ready to do something about it. Please join me in voting Mo for mayor on Nov. 7.
