Trevor Michael Grady

GARDINER – On Nov. 15, 2023, Trevor Michael Grady, 25, passed peacefully and suddenly in his hometown of Gardiner.

Trevor was born in Augusta, Maine on October 2, 1998. He was the son of Amy S. Trask of Augusta, and Michael R. Grady of Westbrook.

Camping, listening to music, and tinkering on cars were some of Trevor’s favorite ways to spend his time. Trevor was very passionate about the tranquility and beauty of nature. He would adventure to his favorite camping site in The Forks, Maine as frequently as possible, often competing with his mother in a race for the best spot on Little Indian Pond. One of his most recent adventures was to the Raven Rock Treehouse in North Carolina to celebrate his 25 birthday.

Not only was Trevor an adventurer, but he was also creative, brilliant, and precocious. Trevor enjoyed using his hands to create as well as problem solve. Trevor was driven; he wanted to understand the intricacies of each part, machine, movement, and to master the requisite tool for each task. He took great pride in his work, both creative and professional.

Trevor worked at the Margaret Murphy Centers for Children, at the Randolph location, for nearly two years. His place of work was formerly an elementary school, Theresa C. Hamlin, where Trevor attended during childhood.

His family will always cherish the memory of his handsome smile and his contagious laughter. Trevor was very fond of his entire family, with a special regard to his five sisters, mother, and his late grandfather, Michael D. Shea.

Trevor was predeceased by grandfather and father-figure Michael D. Shea, who died October 22, 2021, and grandfather Michael E. Grady, who died January 17, 2015.

Trevor is survived by his parents Amy S. Trask and partner Charles Jackson, and father Michael R. Grady; his sisters Devan Sutton and husband Clint, Paige Connor and husband Alonzo, Faith Grady, Riley Grady and partner Jake, and Baylee Dunn; his nieces and nephews Norah Sutton, Dakota Tercyak, Ivy Connor, Jonah Tercyak, Shia Connor, and nephew due in January, Jace Usher. Trevor is also survived by grandparents Diane Richardson, Lisa Shea, Joan Grady, and Michael Richardson; aunts and uncles Brian and Melissa Grady, Matt and Anna Grady, Stacey Shea, Melissa Shea, Nick Mccollett, Tia Mccollett, Corey Richardson and partner Tracy, Ashley and Ben Parkin, Mikel and David Garand, and Mathew Richardson. Trevor was also blessed with many cousins and extended family members that he loved dearly.

An intimate celebration of life ceremony was held November 19 in South Gardiner.
