RICHMOND — This January, staff of the Richmond Area Health Center will welcome Monica Gambi Lado, FNP, to their professional health care team.

Gambi Lado earned her master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Southern Maine. Previously, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Maine in Orono. Gambi Lado’s wealth of nurse practitioner experience includes pediatric care, internal medicine, and female reproductive care, according to a news release from HealthReach Community Health Centers, based in Waterville.
“I believe at its core, health care is about human connections. The health care system can be complicated, so my job is to try to educate my patients and empower them with evidence-based knowledge to make the best decision for their care,” said Gambi Lado.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
