RICHMOND — Emma Valley and Payton Cray scored eight points each as the Richmond girls basketball team used a balanced attack to defeat Vinalhaven 42-27 on Saturday.

Izzy Stewart had six rebounds and six steals for Richmond (3-1), while teammate Breonna Dufresne added three steals and three assists.

Lydia Wentworth scored 17 points for Vinalhaven (0-5).
