MONMOUTH —Sammy Calder had 34 points as Monmouth defeated Boothbay 70-37 in boys basketball action Saturday.
Levi Laverdiere dropped in 14 points for Monmouth (5-1).
Luke Morley led Boothbay (2-6) with 13 points and Finn Harkins had 10.
MT. BLUE 72, CAMDEN HILLS 42: Evans Sterling scored 28 of his 36 points after halftime as the Cougars charged past the win in Rockport.
Mt. Blue (6-0) trailed 27-22 after two quarters before outscoring Camden Hills 50-15 the rest of the way.
Tyler Abell added 14 points for Mt. Blue, including 11 in the second half.
Will Duke paced Camden Hills (3-5) with nine points.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY 67, OAK HILL 54: Tanner Henry scored a game-high 27 points to lead the Falcons to the win in Wales.
Owen Sevigny added 11 points for Mountain Valley (2-3) while Jyrmmal Yates 10.
Oak Hill (1-4) was led by Eli Desmond with 17 points and Landon Denis with 12.
