People in need were fed Thursday at the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen as part of a “Hunt.Fish.Feed” program, created by the Sportsman Channel, which taps an underutilized game meat and fish donated by sportsmen and women. John McGannon, a noted wild game chef and founder of WildEats, worked with the staff of volunteers at the shelter to make a lunch of barbecue American venison hoagies, bacon and rosemary red potato salad, fruit salad and drinks, with an ice cream sandwich for dessert.
