AUGUSTA — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Cony Road Saturday.

A man in his 40s, who Augusta Police declined to identify Monday, was struck by a vehicle traveling northbound on Cony Road around 6:45 a.m. Saturday, according to Augusta Police Sgt. Todd Nyberg.

An accident report described the man’s injuries as serious.
