RANGELEY — Gabe Young scored 18 points as Temple Academy held off Rangeley 58-55 in boys basketball action Monday night.

Peyton Reckards added 16 points for the Bereans (4-4). Nathan Corey made four 3-pointers as part of his 15-point output.

Brayden Thompson and Anthony Whittier dropped in 19 and 18 points, respectively, to lead Rangeley (2-6).

 

CARRABEC 59, FOREST HILLS 43: The Cobras moved back over .500 on the season with a win in North Anson.

Pete Vicneire scored a game-high 24 points for Carrabec (4-3). The Cobras also got 11 points from Desmond Robinson and 10 from Jackson Newton.

Forest Hills (6-3) got 22 points from Cooper Daigle.

 

RICHMOND 71, BUCKFIELD 34: Hunter Mason and Wyatt Cassidy combined for 35 points to lead the Bobcats to the win in Richmond.

Mason finished with 18 points while Cassidy had 17 for Richmond (9-0).

Krosby Harvey scored 13 points to lead Buckfield (3-5).

PINE TREE ACADEMY 44, TEMPLE ACADEMY 18: Chantal Bazizane scored 19 points to lead the Breakers to the win in Freeport.

Julia Brown, Kathryn Callender and Madelyn Verrill all scored eight points for Pine Tree Academy (4-1).

Mia Fitzpatrick led Temple (3-5) with seven points.

 

BOOTHBAY 61, OAK HILL 51: Bella Orr led the Seahawks with 20 points in the victory in Wales.

Tatum French chipped in with 11 points and Meg Sledge finished with 10 for Boothbay (3-6).

Audrey McElhaney led Oak Hill (0-6) with 13 points, Haylee Harris dropped in 12 and Mackenzie Wardwell had 10.
