WATERVILLE — Junior Cole Bard scored a game-high 24 points to lead Winthrop past Waterville 34-30 in a Class B/C crossover boys basketball game Tuesday.

Carter Rivers added five points for the Ramblers (3-7).

Derek Couture led the Purple Panthers (3-7) with 12 points while Jace Bryan had nine.

 

MT. BLUE 61, NOKOMIS 42: Evans Sterling finished with a game-high 25 points for the undefeated Cougars in Farmington.

Carter Norton added 10 points for Mt. Blue (8-0).

Alex Grant and Connor Sides each scored 13 points to pace Nokomis (6-4).

 

LINCOLN 67, ERSKINE 44: Gabe Hagar recorded 30 points, 11 rebounds and five assists to lead Lincoln to the win in South China.

Lucas Houghton added 13 points for Lincoln (8-1).

Gavin Fanjoy had 12 points and Keenen Clark chipped in 10 for Erskine (2-6).

CAMDEN HILLS 73, GARDINER 52: Will Duke scored 23 points and Nolan Ames added 20 as the Windjammers prevailed in Gardiner.

Hunter Bell added 19 points for Camden Hills (5-5).

Zach Kristan had 14 points and eight rebounds for Gardiner (1-8).

 

ST. DOMINIC 71, OAK HILL 44: Kai Taylor and Perryman Campbell both finished with 16 points for the Saints in Auburn.

Jonathan Tangilamesu added another 14 points for the undefeated Saints (6-0).

Eli Desmond contributed 14 points for Oak Hill (1-7).

 

GIRLS BASKETBALL

 

VALLEY 60, GREENVILLE 13: Madeline Hill had 22 points and seven steals as the undefeated Cavaliers (10-0) won handily in Greenville.

Liana Hartwell had 15 points, seven assists and five steals for Valley, which led 28-2 at the half. Kiersten Bigelow scored 10 points and Bre Mills pulled down 14 rebounds.

Greenville dropped to 2-5.

 

LINCOLN 56, ERSKINE 49: Lincoln went on a 16-4 run in the second quarter to grab a 34-30 halftime edge in Waldoboro.

Mariam DeLisle had 28 points, 20 in the first half, to lead the way for Lincoln (7-3).

Kelsie Dunn had 25 points, including six 3-pointers to pace Erskine (3-5).
