RENSSELAER, N.Y. – The American Building Materials Alliance has appointed Rod Wiles of Skowhegan as the chairman of its Federal Legislative Committee.
Since stepping into the role, Wiles has led the adoption of a comprehensive legislative agenda for 2025 that focuses on critical issues impacting the lumber and building materials industry, including credit card fees and workforce development, and regulatory priorities including CDL licensing, crane certification and salaried overtime, according to a news release from Francis Palasieski with the alliance.
Wiles is vice president of human resources at Hammond Lumber Company, where he has 38 years of experience.
