Dorothy “Dottie” Amber Phillips

FRYEBURG – Dorothy Phillips, 84, passed away on Jan. 11, 2024, after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Lewiston to Irene (Bickford) and Norman Reynolds. She grew up and was educated in Pittsfield. She worked as a CNA for years and enjoyed many hobbies, crocheting and yardsaling were her favorites.

She was predeceased by her parents and her loving son, Raymond Robitaille Jr. She is survived by her children, Dorothy (Robin) McCaghren of New Mexico, Irene Robitaille of Virginia, Wendy Cummings of Virginia, Billy Bragg of Waterville, Stacey Bragg of Waterville, Liza Holt of Augusta, Malcolm Spencer of Newport, and Charlee Phillips of Bridgton. Also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to her daughter, Stacey who adored her mother and made countless trips to ensure she was cared for or just to keep her company throughout the years. There will be a graveside service at the Veterans Memorial cemetery in Augusta in the spring.
