Please do not replace the Electoral College with the popular vote. It took me a long time to actually realize how important the Electoral College is in our republic. The smaller states would have little to no representation. All major elections would be decided between the two coasts. This would not be a true representation of our country and all our citizens.

Please keep the Electoral College as is. Our founders were very wise.
