The idea of a “national popular vote” would in fact weaken the poorer, more rural states, including Maine. It would also essentially allow the big-city, more heavily populated states like California and New York (both of which are two terribly run states with super high taxes and lots of corruption) to win most if not all future presidential elections for eternity. Maine would lose its voice if such idiocy were passed.

Please urge our legislators to not support this NPV nonsense!
