Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Jan. 17 resulted in Paul Mitnik and Deb Gardner tying Dennis Purington and Glenn Angell for first place. Pat Damon and Dan Townsend placed third.
The winners for Jan. 18 were Mitnik and Gardner. Damon and Vern Arey placed second; Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami tied Fred Letourneau and Sharon Hinkley for third place.
The winners for Jan. 24 were Letourneau and Kathy Burden. Ron Cote and Nancy Lindgren placed second, and Dan Townsend and Damon tied Mitnik and Paul Sherman for third place.
The winners for Jan. 25 were Goswami and Tom Simmons. Letourneau and Sharron Hinkley placed second, and Mitnik and Vern Arey tied Martha Morrill and Marilyn Ware for third place.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
