The Rangeley Friends of the Arts is set to host an evening of personal storytelling at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the RFA Lakeside Theater, 2493 Main St.
The event, “The Kitchen Table,” is directed by Tim Straub. This event is sponsored in part by a grant from the Onion Foundation and the Maine Community Foundation.
This multi-media event comes with dual invitations: One to those wishing to tell their tales and another to those looking to listen to others tell their tales. Those interested in speaking can contact Straub at 207-864-9995 or [email protected].
Free storytelling workshops for this performance are set for 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, and 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at the RFA Lakeside Theater.
General admission will cost $15 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets are available at the door. The box office will open at 6 p.m. the night of the performance.

Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
