
Mary Crocker
WINTHROP – Mary Crocker, 71, passed away in the comfort of her home on Jan. 16, 2024, with her loving family at her side. Mary was born on May 20, 1952, to the late Clara (Rose) Ellis and William Farrell.
Mary lived in Winthrop and graduated from Winthrop High School in 1971. She married Leslie Crocker in 1972, they would have shared 52 years together in May.
She loved to crochet beautiful blankets to give away and made hats, scarves and mitten sets for children and adults she had never met. Mary was such a giving and loving mother, wife, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers Frank and John Farrell.
Mary is survived by her loving husband; her two daughters, Laura Cadwell and husband Robert of Winthrop, and Holly Temple and husband Scott of Winthrop; as well as her only grandson, Joseph Cadwell; sisters Jane Glazier and husband Francis of Winthrop, Debbie Farrell of Monmouth, Lucy Buckman of Monmouth, Nancy Cote of Winthrop, Janine “Gina” Collins and husband Michael Vanginkel of Winthrop and her brother, Luther “Buster” Ellis and wife Charlotte of Manchester.
Mary had many brothers and sisters-in-law that she loved very much, along with multiple nieces, nephews, their children, and her cousins. She was blessed to have had such a loving family.
Mary’s service and celebration of life will be held at the Ladd Rec. Center in Wayne on Saturday Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend the service. Mom knew many people, some we don’t even know. Please come and celebrate her life with us.
