Amy Jo Gerstein

READFIELD – Amy Jo Gerstein passed away Feb. 17, 2024. Born on Feb. 29, 1952 (a leap year baby) in Brookline, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Sumner and Florence Gerstein.

Amy grew up in Brookline and later moved to Maine. For many happy years she owned and managed a working farm near Augusta. She also owned horses and loved horseback riding, and thoroughly enjoyed her beloved dogs, who were adopted from rescue shelters.

Amy will be deeply missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Bob Bernstock of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. She was adored by her beloved nieces and nephews, Alex Bernstock, Catherine Damiano and her husband Matt, Thomas Bernstock, and Suzanne Bernstock, as well as by extended family and many friends.
