Amy Lynn Adams

SKOWHEGAN – On March 2, 2024, heaven gained another angel. Amy Lynn Adams, 51, of Skowhegan, passed away after a long, courageous, hard fought battle with kidney disease. Amy left this world like she wanted to, at home with her family by her side.

Amy was many things in her lifetime, a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a smart, funny, strong, sarcastic soul who loved spending time with her family and friends. With her passing a big hole has been left in our hearts, but we will take comfort in knowing she is finally pain free and flying among the angels. Rest in peace Ames, until we meet again.

Amy is survived by her parents, James and Donna Adams; her son, Brandon Adams; her brother, Michael Adams and his wife Jamie, her niece, Kayla Adams and her children Braelynn and Gunnar, her nephew, Tyler Adams and his children Harper and Arthur; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Albion and Edwina Adams, her maternal grandparents, Herbert and Greta Hayden; and her half sister Terry Bickford.

Per Amy’s wishes there will be no service. A burial will be planned at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at the DCI Dialysis Center in Skowhegan who cared for Amy throughout the years and Northern Lights Hospice who helped care for her in her final days. Also, a very special thanks to Mark Bussell who was there day and night helping to care for her and supporting the family during this difficult time.
