RICHMOND – Gail L. Balch was called to her heavenly home on Feb. 20, 2024. She was a native of Rhode Island and moved to Maine several years ago.

She had a profound love of animals, especially horses, and had created a therapeutic riding school in Rhode Island working with individuals with disabilities, and found much joy in that. Gail loved the Lord Jesus. She passed peacefully in her home in Maine surrounded by people who loved her and her faithful dog Harmony.

A memorial service will be held in Rhode Island at a later date.
