Muriel Rolande Gervais

AUGUSTA – Muriel Rolande Gervais, 93, passed away on Feb. 28, 2024, at Woodlands Senior Living of Waterville after a long illness. An Augusta native, she was born on July 25, 1930, a daughter of Alfred and Antoinette (Bedard) Binette.

Muriel was a dedicated mother who enjoyed taking care of her family. For 24 years, she was employed by the state of Maine. Muriel was a long-time parishioner of St. Michael’s Parishes. In her later years, she cherished outings with family, especially her weekly visits to the Olive Garden.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her son-in-law, John Finnegan.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Finnegan, and Roland Gervais and his wife Rhonda Pellerin; grandchildren, Shannon Baumann and her husband Benjamin, Amber Gross and her husband Ryan, and Adam Gervais and his wife Lauren; great grandchildren, Anna and Berenger Baumann, Jameson and Charlotte Gross, and Parker and Brayden Gervais; and family members Henry Paradis, Vicky Cherry, and Paula Joy.

A memorial service will be held on June 14 at 2 p.m. at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME 04330 with burial to follow at Holy Family Cemetery.
