Re: L.D. 227: Have the Democrats gone completely off the rails!

Even though L.D. 1619 was passed and is monstrous enough in itself, the ramification of this bill, L.D. 227, is beyond the pale! It establishes Maine as a sanctuary state and puts all abortion and transgender care over parental rights. The target is still — and is again — the destruction of family life!

Through L.D. 227, parental rights and the lives of fully developed unborn babies are (for all intent and purpose) effectively declared “null and void” and rendered to the ash heap of history. Parental rights will suffer the same fate.

However, this being an election year, more people are waking up to the realization of how their own lives have been changing. That with every session of our Legislature, the state is becoming more draconian in its laws and controls! Too many liberal politicians, unfortunately, have boldly assisted in that effort. May you not be among the guilty in allowing this to happen. Vote no on L.D. 227.
