How could the Maine Legislature be so partisan as to consider giving up Maine’s voting voices in our great nation by bypassing the Electoral College? Talk about an attack on democracy.

Eliminating the Electoral College will mean the most populous (largely Democratic) states will largely control every future presidential election.

The Founding Fathers exhibited great wisdom and foresight in preserving our democracy by establishing the Electoral College.
