A Democrat, I voted uncommitted in this year’s primary. Why is Biden’s red line in the Israeli/Gaza conflict more dead, starving Palestinians? I cannot understand his unquestioning support of authoritarian Benjamin Netanyahu in a local conflict between neighbors which they have been unable to resolve for decades.

The war in Ukraine is a global, existential struggle between democracy and dictatorship advocated by the likes of Donald J. Trump, Russian president Putin, and other world leaders.

Where is Biden’s red line here?

Will we awaken to dictatorship in 2025? All Americans should consider this a likely possibility.
