GARDINER — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kennebec Valley plan to hold the third annual Egg-Citing Easter Basket Raffle Fundraiser on Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24.
The fundraiser is set for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sandra M. Prescott Clubhouse, 14 Pray St.
This is the Boys & Girls Clubs biggest fundraiser of the year; all funds raised support summer programming like field trips and onsite education programming, according to a news release from Gardiner Main Street.
People can participate in the raffle for a chance to win one of many Easter baskets donated by local individuals and businesses.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
