PITTSFIELD — Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union recently announced its continued support for the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger.
As a longstanding member of the Maine Credit Union League, Sebasticook Valley FCU has actively participated in fundraising efforts to combat hunger in Maine communities. For its efforts, the Maine Credit Union League rewarded Sebasticook Valley FCU with a bonus, bringing the total available for them to distribute to Maine hunger organizations to $31,592.16 this year.
The Campaign for Ending Hunger is a statewide initiative led by the Maine Credit Union League, where 100% of the funds raised are returned to hunger organizations in Maine. The campaign aims to alleviate hunger and provide essential support to individuals and families facing food insecurity.
