Timothy A. Boyden

LYMAN – Timothy A. Boyden, 41, passed away on March 14, 2024, at home following a brief illness.

Tim was born on June 22, 1982, in Waterville, the son of John A. and Kathy M. Boyden. Tim grew up on the Boyden Farm in Clinton and graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 2000.

After graduation he joined the Navy from 2002 to 2006 and served as a meteorological specialist aboard the USS Enterprise, sailing around the world. After the Navy, Tim worked for the US Census, and the restaurant business where he met lifelong friends and later began working for WEX as an account specialist.

Tim was a beloved member of the Boyden family and was known for his kindness and ever-present smile. He lived a life of fun and adventure and loved spending time with his friends and dogs Riley and Ferguson. He enjoyed hiking, camping, working on his yard and seeing live music with his friends and family. Tim loved music and had a beautiful singing voice and sang at several friends and family’s weddings. He is fondly remembered through the many stories about his childhood on the farm and adventures throughout his life.

Tim is survived by his parents, John and Kathy Boyden; his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Jenny Boyden and their son, Storer and daughter, Jillian; his sister and brother in-law, Sarah Boyden and David Randall and their son, Willem; his sister and brother in-law, Elizabeth and Matthew Goggin and their daughter, Addison and son, Bennett; his maternal grandfather, James Hendsbee; and good friends Mike Hanson and Carina Brown.

In lieu of flowers,

the family asks that a charitable donation be made to a local dog rescue.
