FAIRFIELD – William J. Nye, lifelong resident of Fairfield, died at the age of 101 on Feb. 15, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Baptist Church, 12 Newhall St., Fairfield, on June 1 at 10 a.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 15 Bartlett St. in Fairfield.
