FAIRFIELD — Hallie Firmage of Fairfield, a senior at Lawrence High School, is the recipient of the 2024 Principal’s Award.
The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship. Firmage and other award winners and their principals attended an Honors Luncheon April 6 at Jeff’s Catering, where she received her award.

She is the class valedictorian at Lawrence High School and plans on attending Brigham Young University in the fall to major in philosophy, according to a news release from Principal Dan Bowers.
She captained the cross country team and sang in the Vocal Vibe, where she received the Best Musicianship Award; she worked on the Artistic Arsenal, the school’s literary magazine; was a member of the National Honor Society, where she served as vice president; and she was presented the Williams College Book Award her Junior year.
She also sang the National Anthem at a home football game, as well as at the State Championship Field Hockey game in 2022.
