AUGUSTA — Landon Foster threw six innings of one-hit ball and had two hits at the plate to lead the Cony baseball team past Nokomis 7-0 on Thursday.
Wyatt McKenney added two hits and two runs scored for Cony (6-3), which also got a hit, two RBIs and two runs scored from Parker Morin. The Rams scored four runs in the first inning and three in the sixth.
Connor Sides (1 2/3 innings pitched, two earned runs) took the loss for Nokomis (4-5). Owen Buck had the lone hit for the Warriors.
SOFTBALL
RICHMOND 8-8, CARRABEC 5-15: Izzy Stewart blasted a three-run homer as the Bobcats (5-4) won the first game of a doubleheader in Richmond.
Carrabec (6-4) scored in all five innings to take game two.
