Trump says that, in effect, he was falsely blackmailed by Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels. He says that Michael Cohen, and other Trump employees, on their own, paid these blackmailers, by falsifying business records, to protect Trump’s wife’s feelings, and not to affect the contest for president.

Seems far-fetched, wouldn’t you say?
