My daughter recently had a baby, and I’m thrilled to be a grandmother. I’m also eternally grateful that she lives in a state where women can make their own decisions about whether and when to have children.

That right is in danger, not only from Republicans whose platform supports a national abortion ban, but also from some Democrats who aren’t advocating for a woman’s right to choose what happens to her own body.

The choice to vote for Cassie Julia is easy. In addition to being a qualified and thoughtful candidate she has a demonstrated commitment to supporting every individual’s right to personal health care decisions.
