For the past two years, Rep. Bruce White and I sat two seats away from each other in the 131st Maine Legislature. In that time, I came to respect Bruce for his intelligence, compassion, and commitment to his community and his constituents.

As a veteran legislator, Bruce was a valued source of advice and good counsel to me. Although we hold different positions on the issue of reproductive rights we do see eye-to-eye on many, if not most, of the important public policy issues Maine faces today.

Waterville voters should weigh these considerations closely when deciding for whom to vote in the upcoming June primary.
