NORRIDGEWOCK – George W. Savage, 64, passed away on April 14, 2024, from medical complications. George, the first of seven siblings, was born in Skowhegan in 1959 to Albert and Mary “Leona” Savage.

George will always be remembered as opinionated, friendly, giving and stubborn.

George attended schools in Madison and University of Maine Presque Isle. George worked many years as a boiler operator at Wood Tek in Anson, then many more years as a pipe fitter at Bath Iron Works.

George was predeceased by his father Albert Savage, mother Mary Savage; sister Joan Savage, and brother James Savage. George is survived by brothers John, Robert, David, and Richard; and several nieces and nephews.
