Our family is fortunate but not alone in that we have three generations living in Skowhegan. Having children in our local schools and having my parents aging in place in this town is something I think about daily. When I cast my vote for selectman, those are just part of what I will be thinking about.

Amber Lambke and Elijah Soll are not only small-business owners, they have worked to create good jobs and housing in our community. Their lists of investments in those roles and as volunteers is too long to list in this letter. Amber and Eli have proven they roll up their sleeves and get work done. They know how to listen to different viewpoints and build consensus to achieve great things.

As parents, I have seen them take an active and engaging role with their children and numerous other children in our community. I know they also think daily about their aging parents’ and other seniors’ futures. Please join us in voting for Amber and Eli on or before June 11.
