The Faculty Recognition Award is given to a student, who through perseverance has self challenged to grow and achieve. This year’s winner is Avry Jones.

The Stephanie Lunt Memorial Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship is given to a female student who has participated in at least one or more team sports (need not be varsity) and shown outstanding sportsmanship. This year’s recipient is Elizabeth Roman.

The Ray Convery Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship goes to a male student who has participated in at least one or more team sports and shows outstanding sportsmanship on and off the playing field. This year’s recipients are Eben Michaud and Teddy Wagner.

The Mark L. Johnson Award is given to a student or students, not necessarily an athlete, who have given outstanding service to Winthrop High School and athletics. This year’s recipient is David Gustin.

The Steve Warner Award is presented to a Winthrop High School senior football player who has demonstrated exemplary qualities on and off the field, emblematic of Warner. These qualities include Sportsmanship, Leadership, Commitment, Dedication, Work Ethic and perseverance. This year the recipient is Avry Jones.

Winthrop High presents plaques to the Outstanding Male and Female Athlete of the Year as selected by the student body. This year’s recipients are: Teddy Wagner and Haley Williams.

The Coaches’ Recognition Award is given to a Winthrop High School senior boy or girl for athletic ability, achievement and dedication. These individuals are also someone who has not been recognized throughout the year. This year’s recipients are: Bennett Ross and Selma Adam.

Winthrop High School awards plaques to the Outstanding Student Athletes (boy and girl) who has participated in three sports during their four years. This year’s recipients are: Chris Pottle and Haley Williams.

The Bud Clough award recipient is: Bill Williams.

The Bud Clough Athletic Memorial Scholarship recipient is: Sam Brito.

The Bud Clough Vocational Memorial Scholarship recipient is: David Gustin.

The Walter Taylor Memorial Scholarship goes to: Chris Pottle.

The Glenn Scott Hayford Memorial Scholarship is awarded to: Haley Williams.

The Ron Cross Memorial Scholarship is awarded to: Elizabeth Roman.

The George F. Wilson Scholarship is awarded to: Chris Pottle.

The Helen A. Griffin Scholarship was started by her family in memory of her. Helen was a caring individual and a member of the Winthrop Public Schools Faculty. She loved children and is remembered for her wonderful hugs. This year the scholarship is awarded to: Courtney Taylor.

The Germaine Auclair Memorial Scholarship is awarded to deserving seniors with a love for education and academic promise. This year the award goes to: Eben Michaud.

The Bill Cox Award is presented to: Chris Pottle.

Winthrop Sports Boosters: Scholar Athlete Scholarships are awarded to: Teddy Wagner and Bennett Ross.

Winthrop Sports Boosters Varsity Athlete Scholarships are awarded to: Haley Williams and Chris Pottle.

The Sports Boosters Rambler Pride Scholarships are awarded to: David Gustin and Elizabeth Roman.

The Senator George J. Mitchell Scholarship Research Institute’s Mitchell Scholar from Winthrop High School is Selma Adam.

The Winthrop Education Association Scholarship recipient is: Payton Tully.

Maine General Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship is awarded to: Bennett Ross.

The Sandie Belden Memorial Scholarship is awarded to: Selma Adam.

The Winthrop Grange scholarship was started in the 1980’s and is open to all students but First consideration is given to students entering the field of agriculture. This year’s recipient is: Chris Pottle.

The RLC Scholarships are awarded to: Haley Williams and Teddy Wagner.

Pamela Webb disappeared from Interstate 95 in June 1989. This scholarship was created that same year in memory of her. The Memorial Scholarship is awarded to: Eben Michaud.

The St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church Scholarship for the class of 2023 goes to: Courtney Taylor.

The Jeanette Cumber Memorial Scholarship is awarded to: Elizabeth Roman.

This year’s Elizabeth Ann (Baker) Robertson scholarship recipient is: Haley Williams.
