The annual Wayne Community Church Auction will be all online this year. People can bid at biddingforgood.com/wayneumc, between Monday and Saturday, July 1-6.
There will be an assortment of items like a dinner/train ride through the White Mountains, Bar Harbor whale watch, scenic flight of Acadia, an evening with Fiore for 10 (for sampling of olive oils, vinegars, cheeses and wine), Seacoast boat tour of Freeport, restaurants, theaters, golf outings, autographed sports memorabilia, Portland discovery Land and Sea Tour, B & B’s, Charles River cruise, Boston Courtyard hotel stay with wine tour, local foods and goods, and Maine artisans’ items. The website includes color photos of the items.
The auction closes at 4:30 p.m. July 6. Items can be picked up between 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 7, at the Wayne church, 22 Old Winthrop Road. A free brunch will be served at the time of pickup.
Booklets will be available Wednesday, June 26, at the front door of the church, or people can view items online or call 207-620-0360.
Auction proceeds benefit outreach programs and missions of the Wayne Community Church.
