Comedians Tamara Lilly, Mike Levinsky, Brieana Woodward, and Janet McNamara will take the stage for a good cause with a funny fundraiser show for local non-profit Safe Voices at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28, at Great Falls Comedy Club in Auburn.
The club will host an Album Release Party and Comedy Show for one of Maine’s best, Johnny Ater, to celebrate the release of his album, “What the Frig” – recorded at Johnson Hall Opera House in March 2024, beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. Life-long local and arguably Maine’s funniest, down-home comedian, Ater offers up hilarious and honest stories about life, family, relationships, work, and his colorful local friends, which he brings to life on stage for all to meet. The album will be released on June 28 on Amazon, iTunes, Spotify and SiriusXM. For more information, visit johnnyatercomedy.com.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
