The Supreme Court has decided presidents have some sort of immunity from legal prosecution. Dictators across the globe are cheering at this blessing of their form of leadership. The Court drew no line between a president performing or behaving badly and one acting criminally.
Trump has shown no signs of being bound by morals, ethics, or even simple human decency. Now he will feel little reason to adhere to the rule of law. He will claim immunity in every case he is facing, and he will either be upheld, or he will abuse the appeals process to postpone any legal action against him indefinitely.
The American people will have their say in November as to whether or not they want a criminal in the White House. Vote accordingly. Clearly the Supreme Court couldn’t care less.
