NEW PORTLAND — Meadow Brook Mudders is set to present a Mud Run Saturday, July 27, at the North New Portland Fairgrounds, and will feature local drivers.

Natalie Anton, 12, from Athens, is battling GIST cancer, according to a news release from Hollye Dunphy with Meadow Brook Mudders.
All event proceeds are donated to the families.
The event will feature multiple driving classes along with a children’s foot race, 50/50 raffle, food and ice cream, Tumblers and Meadow Brook apparel.
At 2 p.m. Friday, July 26, gates open for camping. On July 27 gates open at 7:30 a.m. with registration from 8:30 to 11 a.m. The run starts at 11:30 a.m. Classes include street legal, little mudders (15 and younger) Powder puff, and classes 1-7B.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
For those stories that we do enable discussion, our system may hold up comments pending the approval of a moderator for several reasons, including possible violation of our guidelines. As the Maine Trust’s digital team reviews these comments, we ask for patience.
Comments are managed by our staff during regular business hours Monday through Friday and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Comments held for moderation outside of those hours may take longer to approve.
